ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB, beat the Georgia National Ice Hockey Team 8-0. Genclik Spor Club forward Alparslan Bakanoğlu scored four goals in the match. " Alparslan has worked hard over the past two years and made himself one of the best young players in Turkey . " Said Keith McAdams, coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "We are counting on Alparslan to be impact player in the Super League this season. But more important we need him to develop his leadership skills over the next couple of months."

Tonight We played 11 under 18 players in the match, "said Keith McAdams". The future of GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB is in the youth hockey. Our major focus must be on developing our younger players. GSC does not have money to buy players like other clubs in the league. We want our club to play aggressive defense and pass the puck better than any club in Turkey. We have accomplished this goal on youth levels, but we are a year or two away at the Super League.
Tolga Bayburtlu
Tolga Bayburtlu has played great in goal. In tonight's game you could hear him on the ice giving instruction to the club "said McAdams". Tolga has improved his work ethic and has demonstrated great leadership this season.
Keith McAdams plan to use a split squad in game tomorrow. Muhammet Karagül who is 15 years old will play goaltender.
