"There were only 6 players from Erzurum Gençlikspor who were not nominated for a TBHF program", said Keith McAdams head coach of Gençlikspor. " We have 6 other players who are the best in Turkey, said McAdams. Fatih Taygar, Burak, Yusufcan Gürsoy, S'ait C'an and Emre Altunlu, Emre who are all to young to qualify for the teams. They will certainly play for the national team in future."

BURAK POLAT was the ninth player added to attend under 20 National Team Camp for Turkey from Erzurum Gençlikspor . "There no doubt about it Erzurum Gençlikspor is producing the best young players in Turkey, " said Keith Mcadams, Head Coach Gençlikspor. "In two year I believe 2/3 of the U18 and U20 Players will come from Erzurum Gençlikspor."

Erzurum Gençlikspor Wins 3rd Regional U18 Championship

It was a very special win tonight for Erzurum Gençlikspor, they won their 3rd straight regional championship of Turkey with out SEFA Kavaz. MUHAMMED KARAGÜL. ABDÜLKADİR İNANÇ, and FATİH FANER who are attending the 20 and Under Turkish National Camp.

The camp left Erzurum Gençlikspor without a goaltender for championship match. Fatih Taygar who just turned 14 years of age is one of the best forwards in Turkey, played goalie tonight. Fatih made 4 saves and let in no goals.

Score: Erzurum Gençlikspor 9 Okyanus Spor 0

Erzurum Gençlikspor won the match 9-0 to win the group championship. Gençlikspor won all for games in the tournament.

"Charlie Burggraf, Head Coach of Bethel University is a great steward of the game of hockey. Bethel University Coach and his players are special people with great hearts. " said Keith McAdams, Head coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "Bethel University which is in first place in the MICA, has done incredible job to helping develop hockey in the city of Erzurum. Charlie Burggraf offered to play three inter squad games to help develop our young players. All the Bethel players participated in two days of clinics with U14 players of Genclik Sports, Palandöken Gsk and 'Narman Spor Hokey Takımı'."
