GENÇLİK SPOR BUZ HOKEYİ
ERZURUM, TURKEY

"This has been a great year for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB, ." said, " Keith McAdams, "Our young teams have proved to be one of the best in Turkey." The U18 team lost to 1-0 in one of the best games in memory of Turkish hockey. GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB U18 is presently 2-1 in the National Championship round robin event.
On the agenda for the meeting this week is the following:
1. The Black Sea League and the join development program between GEORGIAN & GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB.
2. The partnership agreement between GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB and FCA Hockey to develop hockey and share culture in Erzurum. FCA is scheduled to come to Erzurum Turkey to run hockey school , tentatively set for June 12-June 18. We have future camps, tourneys and games.
3. The U18 was invited to Nashville, Tennessee to play Ravenwood HS (GNASH) State High School Champs. The plan is to do some joint practices and play 10 games in the Nashville area. GENÇLİK SPOR will go see the Nashville Predators NHL game. ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB will meet with ERZURUM GENÇLİK HİZMETLERİ VE SPOR İL MÜDÜRLÜĞÜ to try to make this trip a reality. The club will be looking to find sponsorship to pay for airfare.
4. GENÇLİK SPOR will discuss the future of the Super League Club. "We need to sign new players." said Keith McAdams, "We do not have enough players to compete in the Super League, management need to commit to bringing in more players."

ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUBS this season have won the following Championships:
Woman Won Group Championship
U18 Regional Championship
U17 Turkish Cup
U14 Black Sea Cup
U14 Turkish Cup
The U14 team will still play for Regional and National Championship of Turkey.
Ravenwood High School:
Alan Rooney played and later coached with Keith McAdams in Junior Hockey.
Alan Rooney lead the Ravenwood Team to the State High School Championship.
