ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB head to the final weekend of the U18 National Championship Round Robin event trailing K.B.B KAĞIT SK by 2 points. GENÇLİK SPOR lost to K.B.B KAĞIT 1-0 in what many people say was the best U18 game in the history of Turkish Hockey. . GENÇLİK SPOR U18 team, which is made up of mostly 14 & 15 year old players has played close to perfect hockey all season.
GENÇLİK SPOR won three games this week out scoring their opponents 44-4.
GENÇLİK SPOR beat BYK OKYANUS 28-2.
GENÇLİK SPOR defeated BOĞAZİÇİ PATEN SK 8-2.
GENÇLİK SPOR won against BUZ KORSANLARI SK 8-0.
GENÇLİK SPOR plays BAŞKENT YILD Sunday @ 17:00 in Ankara. "It will be a tough game, BAŞKENT has older veteran club, "said Keith McAdams Head Coach of ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. " There is no pressure on us to win this game. I just want our players to pass the puck and play great defense. We are a year a head of schedule on our development plan. We only lose three players from our club and will gain 5 good players next year. Our club will be around for the next three years. I do not think any clubs in Turkey will be able to compete with us next year."
