The TBHF announce the 20 and Under National team camp will begin on January 2, 2012 in Kocaeli. The  IIHF U20 World Championship DIV III competitions will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 14 to 20 January 2013.  Erzurum Genclick Sports Club had eight players selected to National Camp.

"This is great for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB," said Keith McAdams, "Our team has some of  hardest working and the best  young  player in Turkey.  To have 7 players selected for U20 and 5 players selected for U16 team is a great honor for the city of Erzurum.

  Georgia National Team  defeated Genclik Spor  5-3.  Georgia National Team record their 5th win in the series. There are two games left in the Black Sea Challenge Cup Series. Genclik Spor clinched the Black Sea Challenge Cup Saturday with a 11-6 win. "Georgia has played well the past two games, " said Keith McAdams, coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "Our younger players have struggled the past two games on defense. Tolga Bayburtlu has played great the past few games, he has really improved over the past month."

Huseyin Seçer 15 year Old Defender - TBHF National Development Camp

 Georgia National Team defeated Genclik Spor Club 6-3 tonight.  Georgia scored three goals in the first period to take commanding 3 goal lead. The line of  SeFa TaKa, Kadir Inan and  Sefa Kavaz  had another great game. Sefa Taka scored his 4 goal of the tourney at 14: 15 into the second period. There line score and second goal in the game 10:12 of third period. The goal was score involving all three players on a cycle, cross and tip in front. Huseyin Seçer scored on the deflection.

Alparslan Bakanoğlu scored a goal with 6 minutes left in the game. Özcan Alparslan and Yusuf Erden assisted on the goal. Tolga Bayburtlu made 36 saves in the game.

"The Georgia National Team dominated the game on the boards today, " Said Keith McAdams, coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "We had a hard time containing their first line. We need to do a better job playing the body on defense. It was a bit frustrating today, but we need to play the younger guys in all situations to develop them. The Georgia National Team has a couple of players who our younger guys are just not physically strong enough to stop them."

Genclik Spor Club Sefa Kavaz scored the tying  goals with 1: 15 seconds left in the game.  Fatih Emin Faner and Yusuf Erden  assisted on the goal. "The Georgia team played 3-2 trap. Our younger guys are having hard time beating the trap, " Said Keith McAdams, coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "We out played Georgia today, but unfortunately our goaltender let in 3 soft goals. Their goaltender for Georgia has played outstanding for second straight game. I am confident our players will adjust tomorrow to the trap and play better."

We had 11 players from U15 playing in tonight's game, "Said Keith McAdams". We have the 6 best U18 defenders in Turkey in the line up. The GIHF is a pleasure to work with and first class organization. I am sure the program is benefiting both of us.

GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB SHUTS OUT GEORGIA NATIONAL TEAM

ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB, beat the Georgia National Ice Hockey Team 8-0.  Genclik Spor Club forward Alparslan Bakanoğlu scored four goals in the match.  " Alparslan has worked hard over the past two years and made himself one of the best young players in Turkey . " Said Keith McAdams, coach for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. "We are counting on Alparslan to be impact player in the Super League this season. But more important we need him to develop his leadership skills over the next couple of months."

Tonight We played 11 under 18 players in the match, "said Keith McAdams". The future of  GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB is in the youth hockey. Our major focus must be on developing our younger players. GSC does not have money to buy players like other clubs in the league. We want our club to play aggressive defense and pass the puck better than any club in Turkey. We have accomplished this goal on youth levels, but we are a year or two away at the Super League.

Tolga Bayburtlu

Tolga Bayburtlu has played great in goal. In tonight's game you could hear him on the ice giving instruction to the club "said McAdams". Tolga has improved his work ethic and has demonstrated great leadership this season.

 Keith McAdams plan to use a split squad in game tomorrow. Muhammet Karagül  who is 15 years old will play goaltender.
