ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB

The future looks bright for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB. All the team competing in 2010-11 season won the group championship and represented Turkey in National Championship in Ankara. GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB U9, U14, U18 and Woman will travel to Ankara to participate in Championship. The club is coached by American Keith McAdams. Fatih Çintimar, President of Gençlik ve Spor Genel Müdürlüğü has put Keith McAdams in charge of negotiating the international hockey agreement with Armenia and Georgian. The program has been created to develop hockey in the Erzurum Region and Turkey. Keith McAdams said, " ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB will field teams at U14, U18, and Senior Club. The idea of the program is to add a second club from Erzurum with in 3 years to play in the Black Sea League," McAdams will travel to Armenia and Georgian to create the league later this month.
