GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB won their second consecutive U18 GROUP CHAMPIONSHIP under the leadership of head coach KEITH MCADAMS. The club won five (5) straight games to win the gold medal. The club now will play for the National Championship of Turkey. "This has been a great start for GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB," said
Keith McAdams, "Our team is the youngest team in the league. We have good hard working guys. We will definitely be one of the best clubs in Turkey in the near future. But, I want to be clear we have lots of work to do to compete in the National Championship Tourney. We only have three player who are over the age of 16 years old, the rest of the players are all 15 and under.” Last year ERZURUM GENÇLİK SPOR CLUB won the Group Championship but lost in the semi finals of National Championship of Turkey. Only 3 players from the 2010-11 club were eligible to play this season. All of the players from last year team have moved to the Turkish Super League. We look forward to playing in the Black Sea League and in National Championship Tourney.
